Tweed

Today's outfit is all about the tailoring and sharpness of the silhouette. As for the color palate, I do love wearing black, even though in my previous post I stated that I'll be wearing more pastels for spring. Black just works on me since I am a blonde with exceptionally pale skin. The contrast simply fits - just like brunettes love wearing lighter color palates to accent their hair.

The tailoring of this tweed jacket is really what pulls the attention. The red fabric intertwined adds nice texture and depth, and the sleek silhouette exudes richness. This jacket has no collar, so to add some extra interest you can pair it with a blouse that has a mandarin collar. Additionally, to give this outfit  some more warmth I threw on gold jewelry instead of silver.
