Glow

I have been wearing way too much black this winter season (and have been hibernating in general...as you can see). With spring right around the corner, I thought it would be an appropriate time to start transitioning back to my favorite pastel pieces every so often by wearing neutral beiges and tans.

Usually when wearing a cream colored or light colored jacket, I try to keep the shoes I'm wearing a similar shade. It will break up the outfit just right, transitioning smoothly from top to bottom.

I've also been trying to navigate around Chicago on some tremendously icy sidewalks while wearing these suede platforms.  Most would think it is quite the challenge. Lucky for all the 5'3'' women who want to gain a couple of inches, these are the boots to stock up on. The platform on the sole actually adds extra support so the intimidating heel is just an illusion.
